Cycle of the Werewolf

Stephen King

Was a really great short read. Stephen King shows off his ability to weave a bite sized horror story.

Needed a pallette cleanser after the crummy werewolf book I read last week. Always an appreciated nice swift read. The illustrations (especially the cop car) continue to enthrall me.

This was another Halloween read. It was a very quick page turner. Very interesting take on the werewolf concept. I like how it was formatted by month. It really kind of brought you into the world of Cycle of the Werewolf.

The 2-3 page 'chapters' follow January through December supposed moon cycles and read about like, January - x dies.
February - y dies.
March - z dies, etc
with only slight variation. I thought maybe it was a kid's book but there's mention of herpes and spousal abuse, so -- maybe for kids living in really rough circumstances?
There are illustrations of the adventure comic book variety.
Maybe it's a kid's book with age-inappropriate material?

Spodziewałam się czegoś kompletnie innego, ale ostatecznie chyba mi się podobało? Jeszcze nie do końca jestem pewna swoich odczuć odnośnie tej książki, więc to w sumie takie bardziej 2,5/3⭐
