It’s catching, funny and fast. You get so intrigued by the attacks and just wondering if someone will survive.

I bought this when I was a teenager, and mostly because I saw that Bernie Wrightson had done the illustrations for a Stephen King story. It was a fun, breezy, mildly scary werewolf story that I enjoyed the heck out of at the time. The "Silver Bullet" film that was based on this story was....not quite so enjoyable. :)
Read the graphic novel version of this. A story about a werewolf attacking a town for a full year.
One of those rare occurrences where the movie (Silver Bullet) is better than the book
Really slight, less of a novella and more of a short story, but it's a pretty entertaining werewolf story.
A basic werewolf story, to which King doesn't really bring anything new, even if he always has interesting characters. Once again an American small town works great in a horror novel, and when King sinks his teeth into the small town life, it's executed in such a way that I always keep coming back to get a fix of that certain atmosphere. Although the identity of the werewolf is easy to guess right at the beginning, this was still an entertaining snack. Even at his worst King is highly readable and fun.

Cependant, le fait que ce soit court ne permet pas beaucoup de rebondissements, c'est une histoire assez linéaire. Il y a tout de même une révélation, mais ce n'est pas le roman qui vous tiendra le plus en haleine. Son intérêt sera plus dans l'ambiance que dans les personnages ou les évènements.
J'ai apprécié les illustrations, qui ajoutaient à l'ambiance du livre, et convenaient bien à ce format.
