disappointed jacob black didn’t make an appearance…
this wasn’t great but wasn’t too bad?? i 10000% guessed the ending but the writing was fun and i read it in like an hour. i don’t think i’m a fan of king though? the artwork was stunning though!!

3.5 stars. This is a decent novella. I LOVE the illustrations.
Una novela corta, entretenida y para pasar la tarde sobre un hombre lobo que tiene atemorizado a todo un pueblo.
Ha estado okay, pero comparado con otros trabajos del autor, se me ha quedado excesivamente corto.

That was a short little story, although it felt bare in places.

A good, short read that gets straight into the meat of the story (no pun intended). Great for a quick spooky read on a late fall evening. Werewolf fiction can be tough to pull off successfully, and this entry into the genre is a great example of how less is sometimes more.
The only complaint I would have with the book itself is that some of Wrightson’s illustrations (which are beautifully done) are placed in a way that seeing them spoils some plot points.

this was one of the first king books i ever read at like 12/13 and it’s still one of the only werewolf books/any media that i enjoy
