This is a novella following the monthly occurrences of werewolf attacks in a town. I think it‘a a decent story but I wish there would’ve been a little more character development. It reminds me of old school werewolf stories a lot.

There are definitely better books by Stephen King and I liked the premise of the book. I loved the illustrations, but I felt really bored with this book. I had to force myself to finish the book. It took a long time to get to the main parts of the story and on top of that it was a short story so only 80 pages. I liked how the chapters were months.

I liked the setting of the novel. the concept of each chapter being a new month was good. But it got really repetitive after a few chapters. There was a lot of description of stuff that was just there for flavour, which i can see why he did it, but it just did nothing for me except question why he wrote certain stuff. The overall story was quite disappointing. It was just meh in my opinion. I think its worth a read because its quite short and the illustrations are nice. But i’ve read better King Stories.
