BEST IN THE SERIES!

I read so many reviews saying this one was awful and even suggesting to skip it. Goes to show how subjective reading can be because I absolutely loved this one. Was King’s “death” horrific? YES. However, it made their love and reunion so epic and beautiful.

The way King and Cressida love each other literally chokes me up. To be loved like that is the absolute dream. King’s way with words is something else. To be spoken to like that? Swoon. He’s the perfect man.

I absolutely love the found family in this series. I’m so glad all the characters are connected, and that we get to keep up with everyone throughout all the books. The love and connection between the characters is so sweet. Zeus and Cress’ bond is one of my favorites.

The plot of this was great. The pacing, the dialogue, the angst, all of it was so well executed. I could go on and on.

Could King have handled his death differently? 100% yes. Send a carrier pigeon. I mean, damn. But…I guess I get where his head was at. Thankfully it only went on for a few chapters.

Also, I listened to the audio for this one and it was AMAZING. I may stick with audio for the rest of the series actually because it was so good.

8/10 stars! Love love love King and Cressida and their HEA was perfect.

King Kyle

What an emotional rollercoaster!
At first I was like, why is the story being told again? We just had that in book 3!! But this was so different!!!
GD has done it again, reaffirmed my love of Zeus oh so easily and his band of bikers! King, King… what a guy!
Jump in, as someone not a fan of MC this is going great. Ha ha

Great story, great characters, great family bonds, great emotions, great sex scenes and great writing.
I always LOVE to read the second book of my beloved previous couple. I've been so crazy for Cress and King since Lessons in Corruption, and again, I'm amazed by them in their second book.

Also, I found Daylight by Taylor Swift surprisingly and perfectly fit for them!
There's the lyrics of Daylight and why:

I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you (LITERALLY Cress and King's first sight)
I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you
I've been sleeping so long in a 20-year dark night (Cress's life before meeting King)

In a word, I fuckin' love this book. Me reading the epilogue was like: FUCK YEAH!
