I was doubting between three and four stars.. It's very clever and one of the funniest books I've read in a while, and I absolutely love the more absurd parts. But somehow the story could've been better and I didn't really like the ending.

I mean…the satire was satirizing? I’m missed some points but this seems pretty close to what was advertised.

i’m really not sure how this book makes me feel…i’m both sitting here unable to stop reflecting on it & unsure if i even liked it?? i think because it’s so different from my usual reads.
it was zany & outlandish but the commentary on human foolishness, dependence on literal made up religions, how we’ll do anything including selling out to get ahead in life, and how scientific “progress” often leads to our own self destruction were impressively captured.
obviously it’s vonnegut, so the writing was sharp, witty, to the point, and full of one-liners that will stay with me.
i’ll need to reread and annotate sometime in the future.

Vonnegut can do no wrong in my eyes. As soon as I finished Cat's Cradle, I wanted to read it all over again. So many lessons.
