This is a very hard book to rate. I finished it in a very quick time and it's such an interesting premise with some parts I genuinely found funny but the behaviour by the characters left a bad taste in my mouth.
So when the warnings mention toxic relationship, take it seriously.
The story starts funny and sweet and veers into stalking and a relationship that is toxic.
I have issues with what Naomi did, by flying around the country trying to find Luca (where did she get them money?!) and yes it did cross the line into stalking, at least from my perspective.
Somehow though, what Luca did was equally, if not more concerning. This man lied to her and had a relationship with her, slept with her, while knowing she did not know who he really was. This really wasn't addressed fully, and it was never fully explored or dealt with.
The best friend Anne had no depth, or life of her own in this book, and was a bad influence and frankly a bad friend.
This book did have me hooked, there were elements I liked, but the problematic moments soured it for me.

From the very first page (or should I say, hate letter?), I was hooked. I listened to the audiobook while reading along, and honestly? It made the experience 10x better. The narration brought every insult and snarky comment to life — and I could not stop smiling.
💌 Enemies-to-lovers? Check.
💥 Pen pals writing actual hate letters? Check.
🤣 Letters that are borderline rude but absolutely hilarious? DOUBLE check.
There was never a dull moment. The chemistry between the characters practically leapt off the page — all through written insults and sarcastic exchanges. The slow build, the tension, the “I hate you but also maybe not?” vibes… delicious. It's sharp, funny, fast-paced, and one of the most entertaining rom-coms I’ve read in a while. I genuinely enjoyed every single page (and every single insult).
⭐ Final Thoughts:
🔥 Banter? Off the charts.
🎧 Audiobook + reading combo? Chef’s kiss.
🖋️ A unique, letter-style romance that’s equal parts heart and hilarity.
⭐ 5/5 for fun, chaos, and unforgettable hate-mail chemistry.

The writing is whimsical, the characters are quirky and lovable, and the story is a delightful romp that left me grinning from ear to ear 😊. It's the perfect blend of humor, heart, and fluffy fun that'll make you fall in love with the characters.Perfect for *"TAYLOR SWIFT"* fans🌸🌸✨.
