I'm so happy I read this book! The tips and tricks in it will be fun to read 10 years from now and it's always helpful to hear how other people approach software development.

I think the deficiencies of the book, how some of the tips are a bit preachy/ham fisted, were offset for me by talking about the chapters as a part of a book club so it's not as strong of a book as I would have hoped.

I definitely felt some guilt for not being as "good" of a programmer as they say you should be but that ideal was tempered by discussions with coworkers.

It makes sense why this is a must-have for my shelf.

Es un buen libro pero esperaba más de él. Ha quedado anticuado en algunos aspectos aunque se ven buenas ideas e intenciones de lo que estaba por venir. La lectura se hace amena por las metáforas y comparaciones que propone.

A strong recommendation to any person looking into software development, either as a senior looking to climb even further or a student to be starting off. Andrew and Dave collect a 100 well considered - and perhaps a bit too catchy - tips to take into your programming life. There's a good reason this is considered a must read, and the structure makes it ideal as a returning lexicon with reflections that have stood, and likely will stand, the test of time.

Surprisingly funny and entertaining. Insightful and motivating. Recommend.

Excellent book!

Required reading for all programmers. I can't say that I actually AM a programmer, but I do dabble in it a bit and like to know the best practices, which this books goes in detail about.

Pretty dry, has some good pointers to follow.
