Always love her books. Literary masterpieces? No. Fun and entertaining? Absolutely. Apparently we're on 29 (with a few small ones thrown in) and I'm still not bored. I even saved it for my vacation read. So super fun.

Is it predictable? Yes! Like all the books before cars blow up and Stephanie and Lulu end up chasing down the most stupidest of criminals and there are still the same relationship issues between Morelli and Ranger. But reading this series is like visiting a friend once a year for a long overdue catch-up.
I'm still Team Ranger and you never know what will happen in book 30!

I absolutely love listening to Lorelei King read these books. Laugh out moments are what I'm hear for.
Connie's kidnapped, Vinnie's in Atlantic City ... Lula steps up as office manager, while Stephanie finds herself with G'ma Mazer & Bella riding shotgun throughout the story.
Stephanie seems to be contemplating her life a bit more in this book. She's in a comfortable relationship with Morelli (sigh ... boring). She's realized she really can't picture herself doing any other career ... and that she might actually like what she's doing.
Ranger, as always, is in step with her. Helping where needed, constantly showing her he has her back. I'm totally getting a vibe his feelings for her may be getting a bit more serious for her on his end, though she's stubbornly clinging to "normal" with Joe. News flash::she's NOT normal!!
Fun story, Steph is definitely getting better at her job, but this one gets 3 stars for me ... because Morelli ... yeah, a big NOPE for me.

It was another book of the Stephanie Plum series. I always enjoy the action and the mess ups. I laugh often during these books. It was what my body needed after reading a dark novel.
