This is my first Stephanie Plum book and I loved it

Look, this is the 29th Stephanie Plum book. If it's your first book, you won't be disappointed. If it's your 29th numbered book (not counting the holidays), then you know exactly what you should expect. It will meet all your expectations.

Lately, I've been missing Grandma Mazur, so I was very happy when she grabbed her .45 and accompanied Stephanie in her adventures, one of which involves Morelli's grandma, Bella, as an FTA

3.5 stars. I didn't realize that this was the 29th novel in the Stephanie Plum novels but I didn't really have that much difficulty understanding what was going on. This book felt more like a sitcom to me and had its many funny moments, but there wasn't much substance to it. There was some action that kept it entertaining and the characters and plot were just so over the top ridiculous it was not super believable. I think my favorite character was Lula, she was hilarious. But most of the characters felt very one dimensional and didn't have much substance to it. Overall it was an entertaining, light and funny read.
