Stephanie and company are up to their usual hijinks in this new entry to the series. Stephanie and Lula arrive at work to find Connie missing. But she's never missing. They try to go about their day, but they soon discover that Connie's been kidnapped and the culprits need a coin that Vinnie took as part of a bond security. Add in an FTA for Grandma Bella and the steaming hot Ranger and we've got another great entry in the series.
It's no secret that I haven't lived the last several of these. The author makes no apologies for following a formula for each and every one of these and they've gotten boring. I only read these because I can get the ARC for free. If the ARC wasn't available, I would only read it if someone brings it into the store and I can borrow it. But. This one was better than the last several. I'm not sure why, but I did like it a bit more. It's still got all the formula elements, but I liked it a smidge more than the last several. Do with that what you will.

Another great installment of the Stephanie Plum series. 29 books in and I still chuckle at their antics.

#29 will always have a special place in my heart as I got to attend a book tour event with Janet Evanovich in Kansas City, MO last week. I got my copy of Going Rogue signed and a photo with her at the event. I counted and I've read 44 of her books prior to this one... enjoyed #45 as much as my first. Hoping there will be many more adventures courtesy of Janet.

I forget how fun the Stephanie Plum series is. Book 29 picks up when Stephanie comes into work, and her co-worker has been kidnapped. We follow Stephanie along as she tries to find out who is behind the kidnapping and how to get her colleague back. Along for the ride are her two handsome boyfriends. I have to say I think I am leaning to team Ranger. I love that I could pick right back up in this series, even though I haven't read one of these in a few years. Great fun, and definitely had a few laughs along the way. Thank you, NetGalley for the eARC. 4 stars.
