Reading this felt like watching the stretching and pulling of grief of a man and his two sons through a fish-eye lens. Crow arrives to mock, taunt, sooth, berate, and educate. Crow leaves when his work is done.

M: I would be done grieving?

B: no, not at all. You were done being hopeless. Grieving is something you’re still doing, and something you don’t need a crow for.
