what a great book! i loved the scary parts, ive never read a YA vamp book that dwelled so much on the blooood (cool). i love the familiar characters (from the tv show) and i love learning their original identified and characteristics.
it is not the same as the series but i love the book ❤

Calling all Twilight fans!! If you're still incredibly obsessed (like me) with Edward and Bella's relationship and are saddened by the end of their story, look no further. The Vampire Diaries is not entirely the same (there are a few rules of the Vampire world that are different), but the story of Stefan and Elena follow very closely along the same lines. These first two novels will leave you breathlessly anxious for the 3rd and 4th volumes... trust me! :)
Yuck. Who knew the tv adaptation was such a huge improvement on Elena Gilbert's personality. And don't even get me started on Bonnie!
Altogether I found the book to be quite a quick read and easy to understand. If you looking for the books to be exactly like the series, I wouldn’t bother reading them as they are completely different however, it still holds the same level romance and drama. Altogether I thoroughly enjoyed !
