I fear this may have been one of the worst books I've read in a HOT minute. I wanted to dnf it like 20% in but I kept pushing. I read it to get out of a reading slump and I feel like it just catapulted me deeper into it. Dante had SO much potential, and I get where the appeal for this book comes from but dude didn't do NEARLY enough groveling. HE LOCKED HER IN A MF ROOM FOR 6 DAYS WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT AND SHE HIGH KEY ALMOST DIED AND HE DIDN'T APOLOGIZE FOR IT? AT ALL?? absolutely the fuck not. dude at least say "i'm sorry." and the main girl. i don't even remember what her name was right now but she needs to grow a mf backbone and make up her mind about whether she hates dante or if she wants to jump his bones because the back and forth was NOT IT. Babes would have a good argument for some atrocity dante commited, and instead of listening to her he would just be like "here let me stick my hand in your pants so you forget about all of our issues" god help me. I prob would have rated this lower but the last 5% of the book was better soooooooooooooooooooo I'm just a girl.

i wasnt a fan of this standalone in the series it was ok i guess i was expecting whole more spice but.. it was a good book over all
