Chill fun mafia vibes.
Was it a master piece? No.
Was it a lot of smut? Yes.
I read this in like a sitting. It was such an easy ready to follow. It was honestly a lot of sex and it has an accidental pregnancy in it which I find can be a fun trope. It did a great job introducing some characters that the next few books seem to follow.
Overall, not really a memorable book for me when it comes to Mafia but I still liked it and the writing so I would read more in the future from her.
I enjoyed the family drama that came Dante’s family there never seemed to be a dull moment. I also loved the family vibes with the “true” family members.
There definitely could’ve been better communication and more done about the whole trauma healing process that occured but again, it’s a silly goofy mafia romance I wouldn’t expect that anyways.
This scratched the mafia itch I’ve been trying to fill so badly. Undecided if I’ll continue with the other books that follow other characters.. probably one day.
