Honestly, I had to read this for a class and I wouldn’t have finished it otherwise. Dante and Kat are toxic as hell and they just need to go their own ways. Kat starts off fighting and independent but becomes a coward before the end of the book which makes me feel like she’s regressed so much. Make sure you read trigger warnings.

I hated this book. The first 60 pages were mildly interesting and the last 300 we're just terrible. Strong CHECK THE TW for this title. I wouldn't have finished it if it wasn't for work/school.

This book was chunked into 20 pages of plot, 80 pages of smut, 10 pages of plot, 40 pages of smut, and so on. I obviously don’t mind smut, I read it all the time but this one just laid it on a little too heavy. It was also basically Insta love and that made no sense to me. I’ve enjoyed every other Sadie Kincaid book, but this one was a swing and a miss for me.

I read this book because I had book 3 on my TBR so I thought, “I should start with book one”. I will not be continuing the series and removed book 3 from my TBR lol.

This book turned me off from Sadie Kincaid, though I like her Forged in Blood series. It handled so many delicate topics incredibly poorly and I didn’t find the “HEA” to be that happy at all. I will not be continuing this series and I do not recommend this series.

Eh, it was okay. It felt like there was nothing really happening for majority of the book, I honestly forgot about her brother then somehow they find him an entire year later? Idk the timeline and a few things were weird so it felt like the book dragged yet rushed through a few story points.
