Kat is an incredibly strong woman and by the end of this Dante was for sure worthy of her love. The plot twist with his father, Kat and former fiancé was a punch in the gut. I had to read it twice to make sure it was real. I would love more just about these two.

If I could give this book 0 stars I would. Idek where to start but the 45% | finished was so painful oof. I dont expect mafia romances to be the next big thing but the characters and writing were hurting my brain
The characters:
Kat: is described as a gal who takes no shits but sis folds for him and lets him walk all over her in 0.1 seconds makes zero sense but ok
Dante: he just had no boundaries and is a manipulator... and he legit forced himself onto her
Plot/ writing:
This had no mafia-ing like I was hoping for a tiny bit of plot but nothing except her playing doctor and patching people up. We learn that she has trauma and being in a certain position triggers her... what does he do? For example her to be in that position so they can have sex how he wants to. Then he locks her in a room when she ends is preggo and when she is fr having complications he is like yeah no im not taking her then its too late then he is like marry me

This is a DARK mafia romance, but it is so well done! Kat is taken as revenge/payment for her brother’s debt. Only Dante didn’t expect..HER.
