Listen, no one read this book for the plot. It's quite long and yet has essentially no real plot to it. That's fine. The issue I had was that the characters kind of sucked (except Sam). Especially at the end when we just kept getting examples of the guys doing whatever they want of what they think is best despite her feelings. You have a bond but can't tell she doesn't want a big ceremony? You need a bond to know that she's in pain during her heat? You ruin a fancy dinner she clearly really cares about? It's like at the end the author wanted us to dislike the alpha.

I read this book as a free ARC. I Liked the fact that Emily had somewhere to go while she was in heat so she was safe. She had a great care taker that watched out for her. She never knew she was going to find her pack nor was she was looking. The dynamics between all them is awesome.
