The book started strong but soon became kind of bland. I really enjoyed the concept of the book but honestly it was just too much sex and too little character and relationship development. Moreover, apart from the characters being together nothing really happened so there wasn't much to keep me interested - no real conflicts. Don't get me wrong: I don't need a ton of unrealistic drama. It probably would have been fine if we had some real emotinal connection development between the characters - but there hardly wasn't any. It was just sex, sex and sex. Unfortunately, the sex scenes became quite kinky in a way that just doesn't suit me. I'm not really interested in reading about a guy who is dressing up in a leather dog costume - that weirded me out expecially since it was basically from 0 to 100. The characters hardly knew each other when that scene happened so I found it unrealistic, that our insecure Beta would just get dressed up and play doggy because the Alpha and the other Beta told him to. I guess it is a kink for some people but it just wasn't my cup of tea. Moreover, in the summary "a golden retriever gamer beta boyfriend" is mentioned, but honestly I cannot remember any mentioning of that within the book and while said Beta definitely was a sweetheart I'm not sure I really would call him the "golden retriever" type and there definitely wasn't much to the "gamer" part. That was really misleading. Moreover, the we hardly had any relationship building between the Omega and the Alpha and the Alpha remained kind of lackluster. Unfortunately, there was not much individuality to him.

So yeah, the book wasn't really what I expected or hoped for. It was written well but somehow did not "touch" me. I need more emotional development between characters to really enjoy a book and that didn't happen.

I’ve read lots of OV and this one felt off, the plot wasn’t great- didn’t enjoy as much as thought I would.

3.5 for me

I really loved the book, not very familiar with omegaverse so it was definitely an interesting experience. I like the characters and the relationships and there’s definitely no shortage of spice! I loved it.

DID NOT FINISH: 53%

Made it 50% but truthfully was bored before that. Wasn't to interested in the beta dynamics esp. Tom's character. The hottest part was at the actual clinic, everything after was mehh.

This was SOOOO GOOD !!!! I loved this Omegaverse

If you’re looking for a slice of life this book is for you. Overall I enjoyed the book but felt like it was lacking in certain areas. I don’t really have a ton to say. I felt like the story was rushed and the characters just didn’t have a solid build up. I left the book feeling disappointed that the FMC was definitely more interested in the first MMC beta but once the alpha and his partner joined the relationship it just seemed like they were third and fourth wheels or sugar daddies. The alpha didn’t have many chapters which made me sad because I would’ve loved to seen him and the FMC spend more time together. It was a fast read but I just feel like the story had the ability to be so much more.
