When after three days, I was on page 77 of a 200 page book, and feeling like I'd rather read a summary, I quit and read a summary. I don't understand the reviews that say there aren't any words wasted. So many adjectives. I think I would have loved this if it were a short story or a novella that was fifty pages shorter.

I really enjoyed this read. The pacing is odd, with the feeling of only a few real events occurring with a good deal of space in between, but still a hectic and cluttered sense on the pages of any major plot substance.
