This story is my first 6 star read this year. It is so much more then your typical love story. It's a story of survival, learning to love the person you become after a crime, learning to put your pieces back together when you are so broken that you do not recognize yourself and learning to live.
My heart is so full after reading this story. It gave me all the feels. Tripp and Zoe fought hard for their love story and it was painfully brilliant to read. It shows that true love and intimacy are worth the wait. It is a story of survival and strength. I highly recommend this novel.

This was such an emotional read but in a good way. I loved how it took an awful incident that Zoe had went through and showed the readers that we may never truly know what another person is going through so we always need to be respectful of each other. I also liked how it touched on the subject that because someone has endured a traumatic event we as humans sometimes do not truly know how to handle these situations; we may overlook, brush off, or try too hard to force a person out of their shell before they are ready and sometimes all they need is space, just being present without speaking, and kind words of encouragement where needed. Zoe's story was incredible, she may just be living day to day as a shell of herself but she is at least trying. I found her to be incredibly brave to try to go out of her comforts zone by making friends and eventually talking to Tripp. Tripp was an incredible human being, he was more than understanding and had the patience of a Saint. I think if Zoe hadn't found the courage to make friends and let Tripp into her life she would still be struggling because through finding her tribe she found strength in them that helped her. The authors took a sensitive subject but wrote such a beautiful story to show us readers how others may cope, deal with things, and how we can help them.

Standing Ovation

The beautiful and yet sorrowful diary of this character is nothing short of raw and honest. Each phrase down to fears and confessions has brought the full spectrum of a woman's spirit to survive.
I believe these authors did an applause worthy job for sexual assault victims. Representing the circumstances in which reality is played out.
Well done, and keep going. To the semi-colon society, survivors forever.

What Can I Say!! 5 Stars

This was a different style of book for me to read. The blurb didn't give much away and I was intrigued by it. I knew the h in this book had to have went through something traumatic in her life but I went into reading this blind.
This book from start to finish gripped my heart. I went through a lot of emotions reading this and I definitely need a day or two to get off this hangover. Zoe is a survivor, she went through something no person should ever have to endure in life, but she eventually took charge and moved on with her life, finding friends and finding love and I just loved her story.
Five massive stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was such a beautiful and amazing book to read, I binged it one go. It's an easy read, but an emotional rollercoaster and emotions put to words so beautifully.
Oh, I'll definitely reread this book. I think it's relatable to anyone who experienced any type of trauma.
