What’s not to love?

This book was so funny and I loved their inner monologues- finished reading it in one sitting and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

A supersweet adorable hilarious manga about a man and his new cat. Bonding, playing, hugs, and more!

I came across this one thanks to Twitter and just had to read it! Because it sounded way too cute and also so funny!

In this one we follow two characters, a kitten who no one wants and the old man who wanted the kitten. We see how both are adapting to life together. Because the kitten is used to being unloved, to being stuck in a tiny box, to only getting basic food. Yes, there was a sweet girl who took care of him, but that is of course just not enough. And now he gets so much love and affection. Good food. An owner who comes home after a busy day and loves him. He gets to sleep next to him favourite person. Stalk him to places he clearly doesn’t want to stalk to (that bathroom scene). And then we see the old man, who has lost his wife not that long ago, and who is looking for company to love and to care for. We see him figure out how things work, from giving food (I had a laugh that he was just a bit more generous with the food, just like how I am sometimes with my hamsters) to figuring out toilet stuff to finding out that his cat really loves attention. It was great fun seeing these two figure things out and getting closer and closer with each chapter. They really bond and learn so much about each other. The older man finds happiness and joy again. It was just heartwarming and fluffy. But at times also silly and hilarious.

I also loved seeing what the man does outside of his life at home with the kitten. He is a teacher and we see colleagues and the kids he teaches. Plus, he has a friend who he drinks with or who visits at home. That leads to some scenes because the friend is more of a dog person. XD

The art was pretty good, though I am still not sold on the art of the cat.

All in all, I am very happy I found out about this manga, it was just what I needed when I read it. I hope to read the next volumes as well!
