"I know what I am to him. It's what he is to me. He doesn't know how to say it, is all. So he jumps into a Pride demon's mouth to prove it, instead."

2.5 stars maybe?
the story and character development was, uh, rushed, there were just...a lot of things happening for only 5 issues.
but i loved the outsider insight on the inquisition and the art (especially the covers) was so pretty!
also charter is so cute

Although it picked up in the second half a bit, it was difficult to get past the overwhelming amount of redundant exposition that plagued the narration. It felt a little like the writers had no faith in their audience to pick up on even the most obvious context clues.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cover: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Art: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm so fucking biased on this one because when my favorite character from the whole Dragon Age series got his own little cameo (if you played the Inquisition, you can probably guess who it is when you read the comic) I literally gasped and decided I can't give this comic anything less than 5 stars.

But other than my bias, this one was soooooo much better than the other 3 comics about Alistair. Like, I know it's different writers and artists (for the most part), but the story was way more interesting and I was way more invested.
Again, bit of a bias cause I feel like people who like Dragon Age 2 will like the other 3 comics more, but this one felt more for the Inquisition fans, and Inquisition is one of my favorite games ever, so...

The art was really nice as well, and there was no sexualization of female characters, yay!!!! Also, I was simping for both of the main characters, they are very pretty. Plus, the cover is fucking badass.

Only issue that I had was that some stuff was a bit repretetive. Like, they mentioned that this one dude is the ruler of Tevinter like 3 times? And I mean that through the narration, and not just the dialogue.

Overall, absolutely loved this one, I'm impressed by how much better it is compared to the previous 3 comics, to which I couldn't give a better score than 3 stars overall.
I'm just still hyped I got to see my favorite character tho. :D
