Eine der besseren Vertreter seines Genres, was hauptsächlich an Romeria als Protagonistin liegt. Hat wie alle Hauptcharaktere eine tragische Vergangenheit, die ihre Entscheidungen im Verlauf der Geschichte aber tatsächlich einmal beeinflusst (sonst ist die Tragik ja nur Beiwerk) und sie zu einer smarten, reflektierten, nachdenkenden Person macht, was ich in solchen Stories oft vermisse. Mehr Verstand als Emotion. Finde auch alle anderen Charaktere recht gelungen und die Story ist spannend, wenn auch recht generisch. Sprache ist einfach, aber fließt gut, angenehm zu lesen. 
Gutes Buch zum Entspannen und Abschalten, lese es glaub schon zum dritten Mal (um endlich mal den Rest der Bände zu lesen :D) und war immer noch gut unterhalten.

Bin aber grundsätzlich gar kein Fan von Isekai, noch nie.

Good, but nothing special. It didn’t deviate much from the basic fantasy enemies to lovers with an outsider girl and a king.

just too slow for me and the main female character is just so passiv that it’s boring to get her perspective most of the time.

The pacing is incredible. The plot kept me guessing, and at the end of it, only one or two of my predictions came true and still there were questions left unanswered. Characterisation is thorough. The romance is a deliciously savage slow build. Of course this author is friends with the incredible JLA, and I couldn't expect anything else from what in my heart is now romtantasy royalty.
