A creppy and well written novel. full of twists and turns.
It's the first story I read by this author and won't surely be the last.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Possibly I expected too much from this book, but after such a thrilling ride from the first novel, the sequel just seemed so uneventful and flat.
I felt that the journey to Beth’s grew long-winded and monotonous. To put it simply, I stopped being invested in Beth’s well-being/that damned radio 30% of the way into the novel.
And because I feel like it needs to be mentioned, after everything these two went through together, not even first base? Their relationship is moving at the speed of a glacier.
Sorry, guys. Couldn’t bring myself to finish this one.

This sequel is a good follow-up to the first book. The incident’s origins are explained, a new plan of action is established, and Dorran and Clare’s relationship come through the ordeals apparently strengthened. I’m looking forward to the 3rd book.
