I loved it just as much as the first volume! Perfect sequel book. It was more adventurous and less scary than the first volume, and I really like the change of theme. The book was exciting all the way through and I really enjoyed reading it. I'm already looking forward to the next volume!

adventurous tense

This was a bit slow in some areas but a great continuation of the story. Really glad they left the house which adds a new element to this world.

I do not understand this book's rating AT ALL.

I picked it up, not knowing it was #2 in a series, but I gathered pretty much all I needed to know in a chapter. The main romance was cringeworthy and the plot unbelievable. Every chapter ended in a cliffhanger that was resolved in the next chapter. Not to mention scare-tactics science (which was the scariest part of this horror novel). Did not enjoy, do not recommend.

This series just keeps getting better. I've been reading the physical book as well as listening on audio which I've never done before. The narrator is so good. I am enjoying this series so much. I never realized what this was about and never expected to read what I'm reading. So recommend.
