mmm, it took me time to read, though i will blame that on school. Just a quick recap on my thoughts. It was an okay book. Nothing overly special about it, but i’m probably also saying that because it took me this long to read, so my attention was elsewhere more often than not. One thing i do remember is how quickly they became friends. I found it a little odd just because it was such a sudden change in attitudes. One time we were hating on each other appearing borderline stalker, and the other we were completely okay letting him into our house, and help pack groceries, like …? Another thing that was kinda bothering me was the fact that it was a friends to lovers, but it kind of felt like they were just very good friends. Like they stayed friends for so long that i felt like there was no chemistry between them as a couple anymore. Like i wouldn’t have minded if they stayed friends. I guess it kinda makes sense cause it’s a slow burn, but it’s also friends to lovers, but idk it just felt weird. Anyways that was my review. I feel like half of the thing i said make no sense but oh well.

It was a good read, but I felt like I never really got into the book world.

i cried, i laughed throughout, and i was HOT. holy cow. this truly is the best book i’ve read in so long. truly tessa bailey tier for me. i’m absolutely rabid for more. oh my god. this isn’t a well put together review but i cannot form words of how much i adore this book. from the sketches of the apartments, the amazing characters & their development, the lighthearted moments perfectly placed to break up the darker more intense scenes, the smut (don’t talk to me i’m boiling hot and in need of about 14 cold showers). this book is such a good time, a heartwarming journey of motherhood, growth and love. 12/10 always

I enjoyed this book. I absolutely loved the look into her parenting and how that is a large part of her life and how he teaches her that it’s okay to have a life. Also his relationship with her son , sooo cutee. HIS POV

I LOVED this book. No part of it failed me. The characters were not only amazing individually but they were even better together. And don't even get me STARTED on the TROPESSSS. They absolutely ATE. ALSOOO THE SMUT TOWARDS THE END AHHHHHHHH. SO GOOD.
TROPES
- guy takes care of girl when she is sick
- guy washes girls curly hair for her when she is sick// he knew how because of his mom.
- guy says fuck it then kisses girl for the first time, "Fuck it." Then he slammed his lips on mine.
- guy defends girl
- who hurt you  (sorta)
- grumpy guy // not grumpy girl (not really sunshine more just normal)
- trauma bonding  (sorta)
- single mom'
- hot older grumpy next door neighbor
- slowwwww burn
- jealousy
- age gap
- shows the reality of being a single teen mom
