Meet me halfway

This was sweet, funny, wholesome, and I appreciate the author's portrayal of single mothers - as the absolutely powerful humans that they are. However, Garrett was definitely a bit possessive-y and mopey. I love a slow burn/ grumpy x sunshine trope, but he was just a walking red flag!

A good book but lacking plotline. Felt like it was cut short & unfinished. I was expecting more.
emotional hopeful medium-paced

Heart wrenching in the best way

I was able to relate to Madison in so many ways. This story is so emotional and real that I found myself needing to step away every few chapters because it hit so close to home. MMH is a super slowburn but once the fire is lit…. Oof

4.5 ⭐️ good god this had soooo many good tropes!!

Between a three and a four for me so rounded up. This was cute and I loved Madison and Jamie and pretty much everything except Garrett tbh. He had his moments don't get me wrong (when he pulled out the blanket my heart BURST) but I just found he was a little too quick to jealousy and anger, and for Madison who has a past of being controlled and stalked by her bfs, Garrett seemed like the next in the series so didn't love that.
