Most TV to comic adaptations suck. This one is not so bad and I could see the writers getting better as this title goes on.

What really helps this comic is the conceit of "infinite timelines" that Rick and Morty have. As a result, the comics can focus on a Rick and Morty from another dimension and not have to worry about their stories clashing with "canon" of the TV series or any developments that occur their. This frees up the writers and the readers equally, since we do not have to wonder where any of this would occur within the framework of the show.

A great first volume, I love the TV show, and this was on the same level, I could hear eat of their voices as I was reading it, "oh jeeeez I dono Rick" ha!
