Christie's novels are always full of misogyny; a product of the times when the books were written, of course. I still always find them fun and campy. After back-to-back boring books that nearly put me in a reading slump, I knew a Poirot novel would pull me out of it.

Needed more Hercule Poirot moments and intervention. I did not expect the suspect but not necessarily mind-blown either.
