Te vivo…It means…I live you. Like I see you everywhere, you are in everything. Our connection is more than physical.

🥀 First person dual POV
🥀 Series (can be read stand alone)
🥀 One night stand > surprise baby
🥀 Miscommunication (well executed)
🥀 Well established secondary characters (holding out for Beau’s story 🤞🏻🤞🏻)
🥀 MC growth; communication, risking a relationship, past relationship trauma, parenting, supportive partners.
🥀 Epilogue

⚠️ Adult/minor relationship (past), toxic marriage (past), divorce, pregnancy, injury/injury detail (bull-riding and army-related, mentioned briefly in this book).

This book was so close to being a 5 star for me. I related so much to Winter and her struggles throughout this book, both as a parent and with her familial issues. The only reason it’s not is because the beginning has the miscommunication trope (in quite an epic way) and I find it really hard to read.

That being said, I understand why the author set out the book the way she did. The story is really about Theo & Winter coming back together and overcoming their insecurities to be what the other needs.

I don’t read many romances where the surprise pregnancy trope is the focus (it’s normally an epilogue addition) and I actually didn’t mind this at all. There is a bit of talk about previous IVF treatment, infertility and miscarriage that maybe triggering to some people, so proceed with caution.

I thought the character development in this was brilliant (particularly Winter) and I appreciated the time we spent with Theo as he struggled through people’s perception of him and his personal life.
Also, watching him interact with Vivi and diving head first into parenthood with no hesitation was *immaculate*.

Elsie Silver did it again with this book and I’m excited to read Beau & Bailey’s story.
