Cute little middle grade novel! Very fun, finished in one sitting. I didn’t like all of the non-realistic elements (as this series is supposed to be realistic) but at the same time, I LOVE storybook-type stories, so it ended up working out.

I really liked this book! I mostly love this book because of the fairytale themes. I love a good fairytale especially if anything from the Alice in Wonderland classic is included!

I personally think this book took a break from what they usually talk about in Dork Diaries.  so the book starts out with them in the gym playing dodgeball and Nikki the main character gets hit with a dodgeball from McKenzie. Then she faints and then she goes into this like a loophole into a whole different world where all the characters that she knows in real life are like fantasy characters. and her "enemy" is basically the Wicked Witch of the West which is Mackenzie.  McKenzie is the Wicked Witch of the West because  she does not like nikki. Brandon her crush is the prince  and it's like a Cinderella Story.  her little sister is a fairy godmother  and then she meets all these like fairy tale people.
