When Kazi arrives in the forbidding land of the Ballengers, she learns that there is more to Jase than she thought. THOUGHTS:
I am neither a reader nor a bookworm, but this year I want to read books as my leisure time, and it happens that Dance of Thieves is my first read this year. I will say that I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed this book VERY MUCH. This is a Young Adult Fanstasy book. I heard in other reviews that there is not much of a fantasy element to it; you can't read this if you haven't read the first trilogy (Remnant Chronicles), but I disagree, and I devoured it.
Kazi's story is very heartwarming—her struggles as an abandoned child at the age of 6 and how she survived the slums of Venda and became a Rahtan. Her friends life story (Wren, Synove, Natiya, Eben, and Griz): all of them have a story to tell, their struggles, and how they survived and became a Rahtan. Jase Ballenger! This is a pretty boy! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. HE'S HOT. HE'S PERSISTENT. HE'S STRONG. HE'S THE STANDARD.
The Ballenger's history is fascinating—how it began, how they defended it to scavengers, and how they control their kingdom. Kazi and Jase met. There's tension. And as the story goes- I LOVED IT.
I love how they want to cut each other's necks but also kiss each other's necks. Their romance makes me giggle and smile. Specially Synove! This girl is loud, funny, wild, and SHE'S GOOD WITH ARROWS. AND I ALSO LOVE LOVE LOVE THE TWIST, BETRAYALS, LIES, KILLINGS, AND WORLD. It's a happy ending- but yes, I recommend you read this, especially if you want to read a fantasy romance. This book is for you.

Dobrze się bawiłam, chociaż ta książka ma bardzo dziwny, nietypowy rozkład akcji.
Jeżeli chodzi o ekspozycje, to ciężko cokolwiek powiedzieć, bo jej zwyczajnie nie ma XD Na szczęście byłam na to przygotowana, bo inaczej ocena byłaby pewnie niższa. Sięgając po nią po prostu trzeba się wyzbyc jakichkolwiek oczekiwań, że autorka kiedykolwiek nam coś wyjaśni odnośnie świata.
A ZAKOŃCZENIE TO TAK ZMARNOWANY POTENCJAŁ. Wymyśliłam co najmniej 3 inne, lepsze zakończenia, autorka bardzo poszła tu na łatwiznę.
