I liked this more than I expected to! Jase and Kazi were a great couple. I loved how he continually pursued her and knew how he felt about her.

It starts out slow, but picks up. It’s a good story!

I wish the love story was better developed, I feel like they just were in lust with each other and then it became love

I like that it’s a closed door romance.

"you asked me why an open world frightens me, jase? because it gives me nowhere to hide. that's been my prison for eleven years, but trust me, i didn't create it."

this was so much better than i thought it was going to be, although the enemies to lovers part did turn lovers a little toooo fast for my liking. but the pacing was great, the storyline and side plots were really intriguing and all of the characters were so well developed alongside the world they were living in. it proved for a really immersive reading experience. 

my tbr is currently much too big and my bank account is not letting be splurge on any more books, but i would definitely be interested in reading the sequel, should i get around to it
