Quite enjoyable, at times too much action for me which kinda makes me zone out, but I really enjoy Kate and Curran and all the side characters really made me care about them. It felt simultaneously lighthearted but epic and walked the line very well.

This was fun! I liked it a lot better than the first in the series, but I don't know if that's because it actually was better, or if it's because Urban Fantasy as a whole has grown on me since reading the first one. Either way, I can now fully appreciate this series, and that pleases me. Not much more to say... Other than to state that I want to make hot, sweaty, kinky lion love to Curran. Just saying, don't judge me.

The world building and mythology and supernatural and fantasy elements of this series are so great. It’s all my favorite things wrapped up into a savage and bloody box and I love it. The characters are great, the mystery and villains devious and enthralling... the action is nonstop—I love this series and hope it doesn’t let up on its awesome factor anytime soon.

J’ai plus aimé ce tome que le premier car l’intrigue m’a plus intéressé étant donné que la mythologie fait partie du mystère.

Notre héroïne Kate se dévoile un peu plus et on découvre quelques réponses à nos questions. Je me suis plus attachée à l’héroïne étant donné qu’elle nous montre un peu plus ses sentiments et qu’elle se dévoile dans ce tome-ci.

Ses face à face avec Curran sont toujours autant sarcastiques et piquants ce qui rajoute une touche d’humour que j’ai adoré. Entre ces deux-là ça promet. D’ailleurs on a un chapitre bonus du point de vue de Curran à la fin du roman qui est sympathique et j’ai hâte d’en apprendre plus sur lui également.

Ce tome promet une suite de saga encore plus intéressante et pleine d’action.
