Good thriller. Always enjoy reading Ruth Ware!

Gives The Shining vibes.

3.4*

Kept me on the edge of my seat. Very good!

Includes spoilers. I really loved this book. I loved the transitions between reading the inner workings of the killer and the potential victim. This has just become my favourite Ruth Ware book. I sat down a couple of hours ago to read “10 pages” before dinner and ended up reading the final 260 pages of the book. Couldn’t put it down. Ware really is the queen of atmospheric writing.

This was okay. I don’t think I liked it as much as I normally like Ruth Ware’s books because it was based in France and it was all skiing nonsense. The actual story was okay but I don’t ski and I’m not arsed about France so I didn’t feel “immersed” in the story.
