I had such high hopes for this book but it fell flat for me. The characters are childish (especially considering one if a 300+ year old VAMPIRE) and the plot is so confusing. A little bit of world building and perhaps a bit more of an explanation on certain things would have been helpful. In fact, I think it would have changed the book for the better! But we were constantly told things (in the most minimal way) and never shown anything through the characters eyes or actions. It was so disappointing.

There is so much happening that it’s kinda hard to keep up. However this is giving the same vibes that House of Anubis or PLL were giving, while simultaneously being its own unique story and I’m so excited for the next book
