When I started the book , did know the background I thought it's a standalone story but midway I try to check on Goodreads I came to know about that it's a trilogy and I am reading the 3rd adventure of the story. Although I feel bad but I moved one to finish the book.

Author is an acclaimed name for new children's fantasy series about a young girl who can communicate with and control the natural world.
A sparrow flitting under the forest canopy, a snake slithering on its belly across a carpet of leaves, a hawk swooping down on a squirrel: Clara finds herself drawn into a variety of animal minds and caught up in a deadly dance of predator and prey.
Clara's strange dreams, which attack her in the middle of the day, keep her very busy. In order to save Tomcat, Clara has to go alone in search of the evil that seems to be haunting her.
Clara discover more about her magical powers and about herself.

The climax plot was fast coming. Suddenly she makes a movement and has averted the danger. It's more of a moral story for reader's to enjoy but character are underdeveloped as the target audience is adolescent and teenagers.
