not so bad for a wattpad book but i won’t be reading the next books, i just felt like reading an easy wattpady book and it was perfect for this. liked cupid, liked the main girl bc she had her badass moments and the grumpy brother was actually kinda cute i’m happy he ended up with iris at the end of the series.

It just felt too weird that the 3000 year old mmc would wait 3000 years but couldn’t wait till she was 18.
Should have DNF’ed it when I first felt the inclination. Ugh: the plot holes, the clunky writing, the bland characters, and the atrocious Scooby Doo ending. 🤮 I was so optimistic about this because The Wolf King was so delicious, but I am officially done with any sort of Cupid book. Fool me once…

Loved the beginning. It pulled me in right away. I didn't want to put it down.
The characters were really fun. Each one had their own personality but they could have been explored further.
The ending kind of fell flat for me though. It felt rushed and abrupt.

"You turned my life upside down. You've put me in danger. you've put my friends in danger, you've been selfish, and reckless and insanely annoying-but whatever happens, I can't regret that you came. Because I think you helped me find that spark inside of me again."
Fun, entertaining and imaginative. Cupid's Match brings a fresh new take on classic mystical elements, and I can see why this YA Fantasy garnered so much attention on Wattpad before being published. With an intriguing ending that hints at more to come-it had me wanting an epilogue-I'd certainly like to read more in the future.

i read this whole book in one sitting. is it the best piece of literature i’ve ever read? no. but it was so entertaining and fast paced and even better has such short chapters.
Its fun its entretaining and the idea is intresting however I found it too similar to hush hush and the chemistry between lila and cupid was not really there for me.
Did anyone edit this book before it was published?

I wasn't sure what to expect out of this book. I saw this on tik tok and thought, what the hell? Omg, I'm so glad I started it! It was so good!
“If they catch you, I’ll come for you. I’ll always come for you.”
“I’d battle a Roman legion to get to dance with you.”
There was no spice, which made this book even better. There was just romance and sweetness and adventure and mystery! I love Lila. I thought, for her only being 17, she was well rounded, kind, and intelligent. She didn't assume things. She actually thought about what was going on and how to help. I think her mom passing changed her in regard to her maturity. She was such a likable character. I laughed so hard at her antics and her inner thoughts.
Cal and Cupid I loved as well. Actually, I don't think there is a character I don't like in this book for one reason or another. Now, these two were just hot! I could feel the tension radiating off of both of them. I could tell from the beginning that Cal had complicated feelings for Lila. She's just that awesome. But I think he didn't think he stood a chance. I love the idea of Lila being with both Cal and Cupid. They all balance each other out.
The overarching plot was obvious on who the founder was, but the couple twists thrown into the mix at the end still made it interesting and fun to read.
