UPDATE
So I'm actually writing after finishing The Raven King. I literally read that after I finished this one. Basically, I've read a book a day lol
ANYWAY, I liked The Foxhole Court a lot. I was kinda in a reading slump and this took me out of it!
I kept reading, I couldn't put the book down, I needed to know more. This was soooo entraining, although of course the characters have to deal with some real shit.
Neil is so funny istg, Kevin a must protect and Andrew is... well insane, but he grew up on me at the end (THOUGH NOT AS MUCH AS IN THE SECOND BOOK OMG)
The other main characters are just the best. I know I said this already but I love all of them so so much.
Like, I'm so excited I can't even find the words!

Describing The Foxhole Court (and The All for the Game series as a whole) is difficult. It’s decently written, with interesting character studies; the plot is fairly ridiculous, and borderline non-sensical, but all in all it’s fun. It’s the CW show of your sport’s books.

If you haven't read this book before, pay attention to the trigger warning for the series.
You'll probably love this series if you like sporta anime or soap operas. Nothing about the plot is realistic, but it sure is engaging. The characters are all deeply flawed, yet written in a way that humanizes them.
Would recommend if you like your books full of bat-shit-insane drama and flawed (but relatable) character.
Would not recommend if youre looking for a serious book or beautiful prose.
