This is my all time favorite trilogy! I absolutely love this series and it will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Note: this book is VERY, VERY dark!! Please look at the content warnings because this book deals with a lot of triggers and trama.

I'm really disappointed, I'd heard so many good things and I was really looking forward to this but it just was not for me. I didn't really like any of the characters and it did not hold my attention well, plus the whole sports thing was not for me.

I realize this book series is written like a fan fiction and I donā€™t care. Almost every character is a bastard, but somehow I still love them. If you read this book please check trigger warnings!

I love this book so irrationally. I donā€™t think itā€™s exceptionally well-written. Itā€™s not a literary masterpiece. But some quotes just SHINE, and the characters are so overwhelmingly interesting. Neil is a godawful narrator in terms of reliability, and that makes the whole thing SO fascinating. Heā€™s perceptive towards anyone but himself, and Iā€™m obsessed. Kevin Day is the love of my life. Matt is a gem. I just adore this book series with every fiber of my being.

This was a weird read. Itā€™s nothing Iā€™d usually read but somehow I kept wanting to continue. The ratings for the second and third one are quite a bit better, so Iā€™m probably going to continue the series.
This whole book felt more like the first part of a book instead of a book on its own.
The characters are all interesting but there are just too many and theyā€™re introduced too quickly, so I lost track on them most of the time.
I also wasnā€™t expecting slurs. Why are there so many slurs in this book? Yikes.
Idk, I kind of liked it, but Iā€™m not sure why.
