4 Shorty Stars

This packed a nice punch!

It was romantic and sweet but never lacking on the sexy or the story.

No extra filler, this was to the point regarding all the good parts. This brought a smile to my face!

Not sure why I never marked this as read or reviewed it before. Maybe because it's so short? Dunno. I've definitely read it in the past, though. It's a cute aside about two employees of the Sapphire Sands. Seth is mentioned in the series already, and of course Frank makes an appearance. All of these short stories bother me in their brevity but, that's like complaining that a snack doesn't satisfy the same way a meal does. Duh, right? So I'll leave it at this: this story is cute and sweet. It's worth the very short time it takes to read but you also aren't completely missing anything overly relevant to the overall story if you skip it.

**********Contains Spoilers***********

I rated this short story 3.5 stars, so I rounded it up to 4 stars. I enjoyed this short story which is part of the Four Kings Security Series. Both Seth, a bartender and Kit, a go go dancer work at Sapphire Sands, the prestigious members-only nightclub. There’s a no fraternisation rule with the staff at Sapphire Sands and, Seth and Kit can’t seem to keep their eyes off each other. It’s starting to become a real problem, as they’re being distracted while working. After a distraction nearly caused Kit being injured they both get spoken to by their boss Frank. To say he wasn’t happy was a huge understatement. Seth and Kit make a good effort of staying away from each other but their chemistry is too hard to resist. All I can say is Frank isn’t as hard a*se as he comes across as, and I’m looking forward to eventually reading his story. I’d recommend this short story, series and author to everyone.

Well done, Frank.
A cute story with two secondary characters I already liked.

Well that was an utterly delicious interlude in the Four Kings series which wasn't really connected to the main study line but was a gorgeous read just the same.

Loved Kit and Seth, chemistry off the charts and a but if a sneak at Frank, owner of the club that the Kings provide security for.

So close to five stars. I've read the first book in this series, and so Seth was somewhat familiar to me. Kit's a trip. I would've liked to see the author change up the sex positions. It is magic gay sex, nothing particularly original. The kicker, though, were the cliche phrases like 'stole his breath away' and 'heart filled with joy' and so on that the story concludes on. If the ending had been more original and specific to Kit and Seth, it would've been five stars. Good story. Needed a great ending.
