i sometimes find classics take so much concentration and willpower to read, but this had me hooked. it was incredible, and the more i read about it the more fascinating it becomes. it is a novel about passion, power and pain, a story within a story within a story, and it does not disappoint!! i don’t think it’s possible to summarise my thoughts without writing pages and pages.

Catherine and Heathcliff definitely have lots if undiagnosed mental health issues. Whoever told me this book was a romance story lied. It's almost unbearable at times.
