Grace and I both loved this book, but she was dismayed by the ending. I understand where the author was going with the idea of the dream and belief, but Grace wanted to be sure that the little girl and unicorn would meet and be friends, and she wanted to hear about it. I made up some stories to meet the need, but maybe the author could also put forth a sequel? :)

This was almost four stars, but both Mini-Me and I were bummed about the open ending.

This was a cute book about a unicorn who believes in little girls, and a little girl who believes in unicorns.

This is a cute story that tells you about unicorns, and teaches about the magic of believing.

My kids really enjoyed this one, but it ended so abruptly. I’m hoping the next one continues the story.

Story was cute but LOVED the illustrations. Like if Lisa Frank grew up to be a hipster who drew colorful magical things with a vaguely vintage aesthetic.

AKR, (as all her closest friends that she doesn't know personally call her), is the queen of flipping the point of view. LITTLE PEA, LITTLE HOOT, LITTLE OINK, etc. So I was so excited to see a story of Uni, the unicorn who believes in little girls. Yes! The art is retro-funky and cool. But the end left me hanging....the longing continues with no satisfying resolution.

Cute story with a gorgeous palette and perfectly matched illustrations.
