Not good for me as a grown ass adult. It felt like it was written by a 15 year old, for 15 year olds. I’m sure it would have been great when I was younger but it was really just an annoying read. Same storyline in college with grown up words? Count me in. I did love Reed but there was almost no info given about violet’s character to make you understand why either boy was fighting for her. All we got was that she was pretty and from California with absentee parents.

Violet wants he ex-boyfriend to stop trying to get back together. He cheated. They're over. She kisses someone at a bonfire, Reed, who happens to be he ex's hockey rival. She suggests that they fake date to keep he ex away. He agrees. They set rules, but are put into situations where they have to break the rules and the lines are blurred.

Violet fights her feelings as she has a no jocks rule that she already broke once. Reed has a facade of a reputation that keeps away any more heartbreaks.
