Honestly, I almost didn't read this book because the cover style is so similar to many smutt contemporary romances. Then, I almost DNF'd this book because the beginning didn't capture my interest very much. It felt like there was a lot of unnecessary wording and "telling" rather than showing. However, I was looking for a clean, lighthearted romance to cheer me up, so I decided to stick it out. After the bonfire scene, I was hooked. I was looking for a YA teen romance, and Moody absolutely delivered. There were minimal grammar mistakes; the characters were likable if not a bit stereotypical. It was loaded with low-stakes anticipation and cheesy romance. I imagine the rest of the books in the series are likely even better, so you will find me downloading Grumpy Darling on my next rainy day.

There is a

third act break up

which is always kinda annoying, but I love

paige for saving the day

for them! Such a cute couple and love love love his feeling towards her, it's notnoften you see a fast head over heals that isn't unrealistic, I needs more like them!!

AHHH SO CUTE. I read only because I recently have became a fan of hockey so why not. They were such a cute couple! I was a bit thrown off that her name was violet and she had red hair. Idk why it bugged me lol. So many laughable moments. The brothers really make it easy to love them
