Rival Darling just proves that a book doesn’t need spice for it to be good

I was hooked from the very first page and as soon as the darling brothers were introduced I knew this was going to be so good!

I’m normally not a fav of the third act break up but this time I made an exception because I was so into the storyline!

This was such a cute and sweet read, easy to understand and get through

I cannot wait for other brothers books, especially Patrick! I loved Reed but Patrick is my favourite Darling brother

the first half was good and then i started to lose hope 😢 the reason for the third act breakup was so weak and stupid that I almost dnfed and then my guy Reed starts figure skating in the middle of his hockey game “to make Violet believe that she is more important than hockey”??? a 17-year-old jock doing that??? idk it was so cringe 😬
