My first read by Jack Jordan but will not be my last. What a great read!
Rose is an insomniac who when falling asleep at the wheel crashes her car; a crash which kills her daughter. Not only does her daughter die but she finds herself alienated from and blamed by her husband and surviving daughter.
One evening when out walking she collides with another person who picks himself up and continues on his way. While searching for her dropped belongings she picks up a journal.

That is where the tale really takes off! The police are dismissive when she shows them. Likewise her husband.

A brilliant tale that flips between Rose and the journal. Racing along to a satisfying conclusion!
Fantastic story and quality writing make for a great read!

Wow what a thrilling read! Night by night is an excellent psychological thriller. The first line “ if you’re reading this, I’m dead “ will have you hooked, how could you not read on after that line?! The story has some difficult subjects to read but which makes it all the more enticing. From the start I really felt for Rose and was rooting for her all the way through. She has suffered with insomnia since the birth of her twin girls, which has effected her life in an awful awful way. This book really gets your heart pumping in more ways than one. I haven’t read anything by Jack Jordan before but will definitely be looking out for his books now. This is definitely a “one more chapter” book! I recommend it to everyone!

Definitely a page-turner, but felt somewhat dragged towards the end.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this author!

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It's tense, disturbing and full of twists.

Being centred around homophobia, it did make me feel uncomfortable with how badly all the gay men were treated in this book - though I guess making the reader feel uncomfortable in a thriller is a good thing!

I did feel as though the reveal/ending was a bit rushed though and would've liked a bit more in the epilogue.

I'll definitely be reading more by this author though!

I had a GREAT time reading Night by night by Jack Jordan! I found myself not wanting to put this one down and it was so exciting reading along with Rose, trying to figure out who Finn was, what had actually happened to him and the other missing men in the town.

There are some seriously serious topics written into this book (SCROLL TO THE END OF THIS REVIEW FOR TRIGGER WARNINGS) so be aware of that if you're sensitive to certain topics before going into this one, but I thought they were so important to this book!

I'm leaving this book with an aching heart and a longing for more! Completely unexpected, extremely unnerving and an absolute treasure to have on my shelves.. I don't think I'm going to be forgetting this one any time soon!
TRIGGER WARNING: Brutal violence, Homophobia
