This book has been one of my favourites of 2024. So atmospheric and completely claustrophobic, I felt myself holding my breath a few times while reading this. The author made you feel completely emerged in Caz's situation. There isn't a lot you can say about this one without giving spoilers, but I loved how it played out. Did I expect it? No! Did I love it?Absolutely! The last few chaptes i just kept thinking whatvon earthbus goingbto happen. And the ending was just outstanding, the last page made my jaw hit the floor! I was so gobsmacked! I see a lot of mixed reviews about this book. But I loved it!

Honestly I don’t know how I feel about this book.. I think the ending kind of ruined it for me. Cool concept but the last part literally made no sense to me… how would they expect her to participate again if she knows what’s going on and why would her partner allow that after he saw how much it affected her… just seemed kind of dumb. Also, Pete annoyed the helllll out of me and she forgave him way too easily. 3.5/5 ⭐️

i honestly had no clue where this book was going and cause it had short chapters, it kept me wanting to read more however it did feel it was a bit long and Caz kept going on and on about her dads gambling addiction like.. yes we know!!!
the plot overall was sooo far fetched but i still liked the twists
