Jack and adaria are cute but I lowkey loved sidra and torin’s story more?! Torin is also more interesting to me as a character compared to our other main characters.
The plot twist at the end was crazy but not sure how I feel about the ending ?? Based on the growth he went through, it felt out of character for him to go back to that old mindset? I’ll probably read the second book but idk I’m lowkey sus how things are going to play out in book 2
But the writing is so beautiful and lush, there are some BANGER quotes out of here that I was shook by. I love Rebecca Ross’ writing style, it’s so magical

There better be a second book to this as that was a very unsatisfying end, but outside that, I really enjoyed this. If you’re looking for romantasy, this is less that. There is a little romance but this feel more folk lorey. I very much enjoyed the world Rebecca was creating and how the characters faced it.
